Bee Cave is located about 20 minutes west of downtown Austin. It's known for rolling hills and is close to breweries and wineries in Dripping Springs as well as ample recreational activities in Lakeway. The Hill Country Galleria, a large outdoor shopping mall, is located in Bee Cave and it offers ample shopping and dining options. Bee Cave has a nice mix of older and newer neighborhoods, and they do not currently have any rules regarding short term rentals. That being said, the majority of homes are located in HOAs so be sure to do your due-diligence and confirm HOA rules before proceeding with purchasing a property here you intend to use as an airbnb.
